So…….it’s time to get back into the water
So………..it’s time to get back into the water. Maybe an event is approaching or you just want to start getting back into shape. Some of you have put swimming on the backburner during the summer months, and you just need a kick start. Myswimcoachonline is here to help. This is a great time to establish a solid foundation and do so with structure and direction.
Here are a few tips for getting back into the swimming pool:
1. Get your workout plans before you go to the pool so that you will use your time productively…..myswimcoachonline.com !!!!!
2. Try to locate a training partner (of a similar ability level if possible) who will help you stay accountable to your plan.
3. Focus on good technique and slowly add intensity to your training. Don’t try to do too much too soon.
4. Incorporate some cross training during this time. Anything that can add strength and/or flexibility will be beneficial to your swimming.
5. Find joy in the process of getting back into shape. Attitude is everything. Never allow yourself to get discouraged.
